Peer Institutions

The set of peer institutions below were selected by ECU (in collaboration with the University of North Carolina System Office) and are meant to be a realistic and accurate set of institutions that can be used for benchmarking and outcomes analyses.  This set of peers will continue in effect from the date of its adoption by the UNC System Board of Governors (October, 2020) until June 30, 2025.  The next collaborative peer selection process will be conducted in 2024-2025 with an implementation date of July 1, 2025.  ECU’s previous set of BOG-approved peer institutions (in effect from 2011 to 2020) is available here.
