Reaffirmation Workgroup Structure

ECU’s decennial reaffirmation is a university-wide effort. In September 2020, eight workgroups were established to manage, review, and validate ECU’s compliance with the Core Requirements and Standards of the Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), ECU’s institutional accreditor. Each workgroup, comprised of university faculty and staff from across campus, performed a compliance audit, collected evidence, and wrote narratives per assigned standards.
