Academic Program Inventory (API)
The academic program inventory (API) lists current degree and certificate programs offered by ECU. The inventory provides information about each program, including its academic home, official title, program type, Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) code, method(s) of delivery, and date of establishment or revision.
Search programs by:
- ECU College/School
- Program Title
- Degree Level
- Delivery Method (Face-to-Face, Online, Site-based)
- Date of Authorization
Academic Program Inventory
The ECU Academic Program Inventory is a searchable database that includes all approved degree and certificate programs with their approved modes of delivery (online, off-campus, etc.) offered by ECU.
ECU faculty and staff may access the UNC Program Request Portal (PREP) to view the status of proposed ECU degree programs under active review by the UNC System Office. The official ECU Academic Program Inventory (API) can be viewed under the API tab in the PREP portal. (ECU credentials required.)

Note: *ECU joined the UNC system on July 1, 1972. All authorization dates are listed as 1972 or later. Dates reflect new programs, revised program titles, revised program CIP codes, and/or additional delivery method(s).
